An explosive October for The Interview at Sea made of intercontinental travels

The record on new selections at festivals and the delay in reporting

If September has been an incredibly dense month for The Interview at Sea, as July had been, in a different way, we did not imagine that October could be even more eventful and full of beautiful surprises. Between the end of June and throughout July The Interview at Sea toured Italy with, nonetheless, its international debut in Iceland. In October, there is still Italy with the very important special screenings in Venice and at the G7, and the national festivals continue (the Labour Film Festival and the Nebrodi Cinema Doc) but the international dimension literally explodes with no less than three very important selections.

The Interview at Sea will be in the United States twice, both times in New York. The first screening will be on October 23 at the Workers Unite! Film Festival in the prestigious Cinema Village, in the heart of Manhattan. Here is the link to the screening schedule and here is the link to the full screening schedule.

The Interview at Sea has also been selected for the International Film Festival Manhattan, which as we write is already underway but will run through October 26.

Moreover, from October 25, The Interview at Sea will fly to the United Kingdom and more specifically to the beautiful Welsh island of Anglesey to participate as a finalist in the SeeMôr Film Festival.

We are evidently struggling with communication. We are still missing the many interim and final reports of the festivals and special screenings and here we are announcing in a quick and cumulative way what we will then have to tell and explain in all details about the new selections (we are at 11 or rather, as we will explain technically at 12 official selections!). There is no way to unpack at this time and so the exciting sailing around the world continues! See you back here with the next updates that we hope to get done as soon as possible.

There are many beautiful things but also dramatic events to be told that relate to the themes of the film and the film itself. Topics that need to be dwelt on calmly and thoughtfully and not dismissed in a quick and superficial communication!
