Screening, interview, panel and red carpet in September

It will be a summer to remember for the festivals experienced and those announced for the fall. The Caorle Film Festival, however, is for all intents and purposes and technically a summer festival. In fact, it will take place during the very last week of the summer of 2024.

caorle 7th edition

After many festivals in the south of Italy or in faraway places, The Interview at Sea goes to the north and more precisely to the beautiful seaside town of Caorle. This is a seaside town not far from Venice, where the second largest fishing fleet in the Veneto region in terms of number of employees and importance is also active after the one in Chioggia (where we will inevitably have a way to get to…).

The mission of the Caorle Independent Film Festival is to: “to enhance the artists who create and produce their works without the help of a big production company and which are hardly distributed in theaters: independent cinema.” Now in its seventh edition, the event is established and recognized among the most active and dynamic independent film festivals for networking activities among the independent filmmaker community and also in the media profile.

From September 17 to September 21, the “little Venice” (as Caorle is also called) will come alive with screenings, meetings, panels, interviews and a final awards ceremony (full programme here). A week under the banner of culture and precisely of independent cinema (selected films) that is certainly poor in economic resources, but is very rich in ideas and above all very often shares a common intent to tell the world also to try to improve it.

The Interview at Sea will be screened on September 18 at 9:30 p.m. (full schedule of screenings here, our film fact sheet here) while a press conference is scheduled for the afternoon of the same day. On Friday, September 20, during the afternoon (as soon as there is a time we will announce it) the director and screenwriter of L’intervista in mare, Ludovico Ferro, will meet the audience for a panel dedicated to our film.

The awards ceremony with the related red carpet will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 7:30 pm.

Stay tuned for all the details and if you can come and discover with us this festival that we already know is super interesting and well organized!
