Diffuse festival and media and worldwide impact for “The Interview” at The Interview at Sea
We have already partly covered the Ortigia Film Festival, an engaging and beautiful experience for a festival that knows how to combine glamour and social engagement. It is not only an established but also a constantly evolving reality. In fact, this year’s edition was spread across the territory with two blocks and different sections. We covered the first one (in which we participated) in the historic Ortigia venue in Syracuse from July 6 to 13. The second was held in Avola from July 31 to August 2. The festival then moved from the historic and beautiful squares of Ortigia to the sea and beach of the seaside village of Avola for the section of the festival entitled Cinema & Art.
For the report on the awards and the detail of the films that participated in the two moments of the Ortigia film festival we refer directly to the website.
We close the report of this festival with a small media note but also one of pride. The interview with director Ludovico Ferro posted on the festival’s Facebook page still turns out to be the most viewed interview to date. It is certainly not thanks to us, since we are only now coming to advertise it (you can see it here) but it is definitely thanks to the care and professionalism of the festival staff. Above all, it gives us hope that the issues of work at sea can be and become more and more, thanks also to our film, topics of public and political interest and attention.
And on this we can say that everything seems to intertwine. In Ortigia, unexpectedly, The Interview at Sea will return soon. And not in a festival context, but precisely in a public sphere context of global importance and carat!
